How are you all doing? It’s officially our Month isn’t it? With women’s day around the corner the feminist inside me has just suddenly popped out and I thought of going all feminine and girly. So I usually don’t opt for Pink colours or for the matter of fact anything that is super girly coz that’s not my personality. I’m more into being edgy and chic i.e. Rocker chic or grunge with everything black. I ain’t complaining that I’ve all black outfits even though black ain’t my favourite colour. Let’s leave that for another discussion.
Pink colour is always associated with feminine, cute and tenderness but pink is powerful too. I love candy pink colour but my brain works in reverse order and hence pulling it off is one hell of a task for me and hence went bit berserk and styled a candy pink skirt with grunge while maintaining it’s feminity. I wore one pink skirt in 3 different ways so let’s see how I styled it.
(Shirt – Park Avenue Women, Skirt – Roving Mode, Wedges – Tresmode)
For look 1 I opted an extremely femine look with a retro touch to it. Wore polka dot shirt as an off shoulder top and accessorized it with trinklets. Kept a bouncy hairdo and swept them on one side. Signature winged eyeliner and pink lips to complete the look.
Tees – Levis, Skirt – Roving Mode, Shoes – Vero Moda
Look 2 is my personal favourite. Wearing an oversize tees with cuts here and their & tying the tees around the waist giving it a rough and edgy feel. I love how white and pink are bright colours but blend so well and the result is definitely amazing. Ofcourse, for the hairdo I opted for chinese warrior hairdo. The new shoes are so adorable as it catches a lot of attention being a mix of colour white and mesh design. Didn’t change the make up that much.
Blazer – Masaba Gupta, Skirt – Roving Mode, Clutch – Vero Moda, Shoes – Vero Moda
My look would be incomplete without adding a blazer to the look. This is one of the recent purchase. I bought this Masaba blazer from Zokudo.com. Masaba Gupta definitely adds quirk to her prints and how could I miss out on adding quirk to my look by adding this blazer. It’s bit oversize blazer which you can definitely wear at work. I love the colour combination of pistachio green and lemony yellow on the cuff and elbow cut to add that quirkiness. Continued with the shoes from previous look and tied my hair. Also opted for clutch with rivet detailing.
Which is your pick ot of these 3? Comment below & lemme know as it helps me grow in a better way. Till the time we come back with our next post/shoot please do take care of yourself and always, “Be Quirky & Think Different”
Love you all,
How are you all doing? It’s been almost 3 weeks to the end of Lakme Fashion Week but one show that still gives me goose bumps was the Ritu Kumar show. Every season, Ritu Kumar comes up with something so extra ordinary that keeps you mesmerised with it’s beauty. The collection this season was beyond extra ordinary ad something that I admire. I’ve always been fascinated with royal stuff which had edginess to it with classiness. The collection is rightly named “Maharaja Pop”
The collection was inspired by shades of royalty with hints of military touches. The collection brought in a mélange of patterns and themes on the ramp. Quirky colours and bold military inspired textiles, took the ensembles to a high sartorial level. The neo-combat trend came alive with shades of contrasts as grey, blue and metallics were suddenly livened with pops of red. The colour story further moved from black and white to brown, silver, gold, green and saffron that brought a kaleidoscopic palette on the ramp. Loved the minute detailing of the collection. The models were given military caps with stars and different pins attached to it and boots to have that military vibe.
Floral prints were the focal point of the show. What amused was the metallics paired with patterns and striking embroidery work worn in the form of maxis, mini skirts and even shorts. A silver wrap, pleated, mini with a printed quilted jacket and the playsuit in blue/black digital pattern added to the glamorous western fusion story. The show stopped Vaani Kapoor stealed the show by opting for ornate, appliquéd, black, zipped, biker jacket, over printed maxi skirt and a sheer net body suit and I must say she looked no less than a Goddess.

Love you all,
How are you all doing? It’s a Thursday and weekend is just starting tomorrow and I can’t deal with it. I somehow hate weekends 😦 No more ranting about weekends.
It’s summers officially. Can we not start the ranting on that but hey, you cannot ignore the fact that all those warm clothes will take a back seat and my fave clothes will be out which includes shorts, skirts, crop tops and what not. I love summers coz I get to wear these amazing clothes ❤
So recently Roving Mode sent me across these absolutely gorgeous skirt which has nautical vibe to it. Now to be brutaly honest I’ve some kinda connection with nautical things. Be it clothes, places, things etc. I can declare myself as “Officially a Beach Bum”. Roving mode have great collection to look forward to. Starting from skirts which are my type i.e. more of edgy and sexy and then there are other set of skirts which are more of feminine like tulle skirts. I had to choose the nautical one & I styled it with edginess to it. Let’s see how I styled it.
Top – SBL, Skirt – Roving Mode, Hand Held Purse – Vero Moda, Kicks – Vero Moda

The skirt is supremely cute with the button detailing which gives it a nautical feel to it. I paired it with a short top which has knot in front and stripes make it apt for the nautical feel. I wanted to add quirk factor to the look hence added hand held wallet which has spike detailing to it and wore white kicks. Kept my make up quite subtle with my signature red lipstick.
This look would be my daily look for summers 😀 What do you think about this look? Comment below and lemme know. Till the time we come back with our next post/shoot please do take care of yourself and always, “Be Quirky & Think Different”
Love you all,
How are you all doing? I’ve never had mid week crisis coz I’ve always been a work-a-holic and I’m so proud about it. Earlier when I used to work at a radio station I hated Saturday’s coz I used to get a Saturday off and a working sunday but anyhow, I hated weekends. Weekdays are so much fun 😉 So this look is dedicated to my “WORK-a-HOLIC” side as I never get to dress in formals.
I had bought a pair of checkered co-ord from Stalk Buy Love and instantly I fell in love with it coz of numerous reasons. Reason number 1. It’s checkered, Reason number 2. It’s co ord, Reason number 3. Fits me like a dream and last but definitely not the least Reason number 4. this co-ord was formal trouser and blazer combination. Well, I’ve many more reasons but as of now 4 are enough to describe my obsession. Let’s see how I styled these co-ords.
Co-Ords – SBL, Top – Only, Peep Toes – Flipkart
It was my dream to wear these kinda formals and walk with sheer confidence in office and slay the board meetings (Too many dreams :p) but I guess I would have got bored with wearing same dress code everyday and hence slaying once in a blue moon is better then wearing formals everyday as a uniform. I don’t like making hype with formals coz they already do a lot of talking with the matching blazer and pencil cut trousers & hence kept it quite minimal with simple make up and less or no accessories.
You can dress it down or make a statement with formals, it completely depends upon you. So what do you think about this look? Comment below and lemme know as it helps me grow in a better way. Love you all,
How are you all doing? It just feels forever coz I’m writing after so long. With back to back events, recording videos, my mini vacay + wedding and Lakme Fashion Week completely missed out on writing but I’m back. If you missed out on any of the fun you need to follow me on Instagram & Snapchat as well.
So sometime back I got in touch with Alpana who is an Internationally certified Artificial Nail Artist and has India’s first Online boutique for designer and artificial nails. Now for all those girls who get their nails done at a Nail Spa would be very well aware about the services and how time consuming is the whole process of getting nails done which is also highly expensive at certain places whereas Alps Nail Art helps you design your nails just like a professional Nail Spa which is less time consuming.
I chose Mickey design for myself coz being 90’s kid I’ve my attachmet to Mickey and why not he is still the cutest carton character. Alpana took my nail measurements and customised my nails according to my choice and swent me across. Now here comes the best and major part, How do you stick those nails? When you go to studio for nails, they use these strong and hard glue so the nails stay in place whereas Alps Nail art uses glue which is more easier to use in the form of application as well as less harmful for the nail bed. These nails can be applied within 5 mins without any hassle and help and can be reused more then 10 times if used properly. They stay upto 3 to 4 days as they don’t have strong and hard glue unlike Nail Spa but they are more preferable and reliable.
The quality of these are amazing and price is extremely affordable with customisation. I’ve always been fond of mickey and somehow the mickey looks so real ❤

So recently Levis lauched their new collection 505 C which is designed for men and women with 70’s rock jean trend with today’s look to it. I really love the fit of this jean as it’s rock-chic with comfort. I’m not into loose denims coz of my body type but this one is exceptionally awesome. I’ve been wearing this denim almost everywhere coz of its cut & fit. While it’s still cold in the city, I thought of doing a laid back look with this jeans. P.S. 20 Degree is cold for Mumbaikars. Let’s see how I styled the denim.
I opted for a laid back look as I wanted to focus more on the denim then the whole look put together. Being chilly mornings, opted for a knit cardigan which is supremely warm and camisole. Also lot of people who follow me on snap chat are aware that I invested in white kicks from koovs which has amazing rose gold detailing to it. I absolutely love the hem of this denim but I just rolled them up coz I love my denim that way. Didn’t accessorize much coz simple is stunning according to me.
This is a kind of denim which can be paired with almost anything and everything. Throw a shirt around with this denim and you’re ready to rock the ultra chic look or wear a tees with stole around and you’re brunch ready or ready to hit the beach. Basically this jeans can be style in multiple ways without being boring and repetitive.

Love you all,
First of all a very Happy New Year, I hope you had a fabulous 31st NYE and I just pray and hope you have successful 2017 as well.
This is technically the 1st look for 2017 and what better then a sweater look for “Not-So-Cold” mumbai weather. Mumbai has hot and humid climate throughout the year. Be it Winter or Monsoon, it’s always hot & humid. The only time we feel cold in Mumbai is during midnight i.e. post 10 pm and ownwards or in those areas where it has dense kinda forest or too many trees and I won’t be lying on this but it becomes extremely cold in these areas and one simple knit ain’t enough to cover up and keep you warm.
Anyhow coming back to my encounter with the colour Purple and Black. Now to be very honest, when I look at the colour purple it gives me positive vibes and when I pair it with black it just makes a classic combination. So I had this warm, cute and gorgeous purple coloured sweater and I wanted an unusual pairing for the sweater. Being new year experinmenting with new looks is the agenda and hence I paired the sweater with black skirt and completed the look by pairing it with my new white kicks. Let’s see how I styled it.
Sweater – Pantaloons, Skirt – Style Syndrome, Kicks – Koovs
Face – Ponds BB+ Cream, Eyes – Lakme 9-5 Liquid Liner, Lipstick – Mac in Rebel, Nails – Lakme Grape Blossom
So going for comfy chic with a sweater. Sweater can be smart and chic only if you pair it nicely. Sweaters ain’t that boring, just add that quirk factor. I opted for skirt and kicks to have a quirk factor. I wanted my whole attire to stand out and hence the odd pairing of skirt and sweater & white kicks with rose gold detailing to give that lit’tl shimmer.
So going for an unusual pairing is the agenda for 2017 and experimenting with my hairdo’s, new make up trends and lot more things are on my wishlist (P.S. Can I name this my new year resolution?)
